Premiership Preview: Part Two

With the start of the 2013/14 Premiership season just around the corner I thought I would take a look at the various teams and the transfers in and out. What can the supporters of each team really expect from the upcoming season.
Each day I will take five teams in what will be a four part preview. Yesterday I started with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Cardiff, Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Today I tackle Everton, Fulham, Hull, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Premiership Preview: Part One

With the start of the 2013/14 Premiership season just around the corner I thought I would take a look at the various teams and the transfers in and out. What can the supporters of each team really expect from the upcoming season.
Each day I will take five teams in what will be a four part preview. Today I will start with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Cardiff, Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Two promoted sides from last season, two teams with title aspirations and then Villa, who will be looking to improve on last seasons dismal run.

British Newspaper Reports City Linked With Human Rights Violations

I was just recently made aware of a piece running in an English newspaper in which the reporter links the owners of Manchester City with alleged human rights violations in the UAE and his story may have some basis but the report itself is full of smoke and mirrors. This is what I have after researching for just a little time.

13 years book-ended by two dramatic late twists!

Was it only thirteen years ago when City, managed by Joe Royle went on to that Wembley pitch in search of promotion. Every City fan knows what happened in that game and from third tier mediocrity we now find ourselves Champions of England!

Euro Predictions, Knockout

The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2012, will be the 14th running of the tournament. The tournament will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It is the first time that either nation has hosted the tournament. This is part one of my predictions for the event.

Over the past week or so I have looked at the four different Groups within the tournament and tried to figure out exactly what would happen. I have decided in which order each team will finish and taking those predictions I can now look at the knockout stages and figure out who I think will win the whole tournament.
